Our Nursery

About us King’s Lynn Nursery School is a term time only Nursery School located in St James Park off London Road. We are open from 8.30 - 3.30, and offer sessional and full day early education for 2 - 4 year olds. We are federated with Highgate Infant School as a ‘Federation’ of the two schools – known as Highgate St James. The Governing Bodies stress that Federation is considered the best way to secure the future of both schools – it is not a bid to merge or amalgamate the schools and each school will continue to maintain their individual identities as they have previously. Current admission arrangements for both schools will remain in place. However, this does not guarantee King’s Lynn Nursery School children a place at Highgate Infant School. Federation, in itself, will not dictate any change in the schools’ current staffing teams. Federation will allow employment of specialists as appropriate.
